Designed by Jasper Morrison for Danish brand HAY, this Wall Clock gracefully combines the sensibilities of both designer and brand: a clean, minimalist silhouette and muted color palette. The face, with its index marks for every hour, minute and second, and six numerals (0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10), evokes a utilitarian workroom clock, but reimagined with home decor colors. The time is indicated with white, smooth-movement minute and hour hands and a yellow second hand, which adds a pop of bright color to the otherwise quiet design. The HAY Wall Clock is made from recycled ABS plastic with a clear acrylic cover, and measures 10.4"diam. Both Jasper Morrison and HAY have work in MoMA’s collection.
